We believe that every child should be able to participate in youth sports and other activities, and to gain the confidence, skills, friendships, and experiences that can stay with them for years to come. The Pay to Play Initiative Scholarship was created to help families facing financial hardship cover the costs of participation, including activity fees, equipment, uniforms, and other related needs. Families are encouraged to contribute what they can afford, with Miles 4 Mentors helping to cover the remaining cost when possible.

Miles 4 Mentors is proud to make these scholarships available to local families with children in kindergarten through 12th Grade. To date, we have provided scholarships for swimming, karate, and dance lessons, football camps, soccer, and more. We have helped numerous families with financial assistance, athletic shoes, and mentoring. Our entire team from our board to our dedicated volunteers share a goal to help invest in area children to improve their chances of success in life.

The scholarship amount is typically half of the participation fee, not to exceed $250 per child. Scholarship amounts may also vary depending on the availability of funds.
