We believe every child deserves the opportunity to participate in sports, activities, and experiences that help them grow. These opportunities build confidence, teach valuable skills, create connections, and give kids experiences they can carry with them long after the season or activity ends. The Miles 4 Mentors Pay to Play Initiative Scholarship helps families facing financial challenges cover youth activity fees, equipment, and other participation-related needs. Families are encouraged to contribute what they can, with scholarship assistance helping make up the difference.

Limited funding is available for students who reside within the Willmar Public School District. Scholarships may cover up to half of the participation fee, not to exceed $250 per child, depending on available funding. Assistance may also be available for required equipment and other related expenses. Miles 4 Mentors is proud to support children in kindergarten through 12th grade. Past scholarships have helped young people participate in swimming, karate, dance, football camps, soccer, and more, covering everything from registration fees to shoes and equipment.

Our goal is simple: remove financial barriers so more kids can participate, grow, and discover what they are capable of. Please submit a separate application for each child requesting assistance.
